PAG-IBIG, a Philippine government agency dedicated in helping Filipinos as we know normally caters on housing loans and savings.

For those who are investing in the Philippines, MP2 savings is quite popular as it gives very good Dividend earnings yearly. Historically it’s annual yield reaches at least 5% per month, much higher than what most banks are giving even at time deposits of 1-3 years. Highest rate banks can only give up to 3% and this yield is still subjected to income tax.

The MP2 Savings is a special savings facility with a 5-year maturity, designed for Pag-IBIG Fund members who wish to save more and earn even higher dividends, in addition to their Pag-IBIG Regular Savings. The program is also open to pensioners and retirees who were former Pag-IBIG Fund members.

PAG-IBIG Dividend Rates

The income coming from PAG-IBIG investments are set-aside for dividends for PAG-IBIG MP2 investors. Around 70% of its income is allocated for this. The higher the amount invested amount, the higher will be your Dividends.

Historically MP2 Savings is allocated with higher returns than its PAG-IBIG Regula Savings counterpart

How do we enroll for MP2 Savings?

STEP 1
Create your MP2 Savings Account through the following options:
– via Virtual Pag-IBIG (click here)
– by submitting your duly accomplished MP2 Enrollment Form and the corresponding requirements at any Pag-IBIG Fund branch.
STEP 2
Save in the MP2 using the following payment channels:

– Accredited Collecting Partners (click here)

V. Overseas Remittance of Monthly Savings/Loan Amortizations at the following Collecting Agents and its Remittance Company partners:

    • I-Express Remit Mo Sa Pag-IBIG Process Flow
      • Secure and accomplish Partner’s Remittance Application Form.
      • Pay Members Savings (MS) / Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) / Short Term Loan (STL) (Multipurpose Loan (MPL) / Calamity Loan)/ Housing Loan (HL)
      • You will receive the machine-validated Transaction Slip, which will serve as your official receipt in lieu of Pag-IBIG Fund Official Receipt (PFOR).
    • I-Text Mo Sa Pag-IBIG Process Flow
      • Secure and accomplish Partner’s Remittance Application Form.
      • Send Redi Money Number together with the following whichever is applicable through Short Messaging System (SMS) via mobile phone:
        • Membership Identification (MID) Number for Members Savings (MS) / Short Term Loan (STL) – Multipurpose Loan (MPL) / Calamity Loan
        • Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) Number
        • Housing Account Number (HAN)
      • You will receive a text message for every successful payment transaction.
  • iRemit
    • iRemit Process Flow
      • Accomplish and submit iRemit Remittance Application Form and Auxiliary Service Form to iRemit Teller.

        NOTES:

        • The amount specified in the payment/remittance form must be in Philippine Peso for payment of Members Savings (MS)/ Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) / Short Term Loan (STL) (Multipurpose Loan (MPL) / Calamity Loan) / Housing Loan (HL)
        • The U.S. dollar is converted to the local currency using the prevailing local currency/US$ rate as determined by iRemit.
      • Upon settlement, you will receive a validated Official Receipt (OR), reflecting a unique reference transaction number from iRemit Teller which will serve as proof of payment.
  • VENTAJA
    • VENTAJA Process Flow
      • Accomplish and submit Remittance Application Form as basis for payment details.

        NOTES:

        • The amount specified in the payment/remittance form must be in Philippine Peso for payment of of Members Savings (MS)/ Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) / Short Term Loan (STL) (Multipurpose Loan (MPL) / Calamity Loan) / Housing Loan (HL)
        • The U.S. dollar is converted to the local currency using the prevailing local currency/US$ rate as determined by Ventaja’s tie up Remittance partner.
      • Upon settlement, you will receive an official Remittance Receipt reflecting a unique reference transaction with attached Ventaja’s valid receipt which will serve as proof of payment.
  • CASHPINAS
    • Process Flow
      • Go to any Accredited Collecting Partner get a Receipt # by accomplishing the remittance form.
      • Accomplish the remittance form with the following information:
        • Member’s Name
        • MID / HL Account No.
        • Amount

      • Present your Receipt # to the teller.
      • Pay the amount due indicated on your Receipt #.
      • The teller will now encode and process your payment for Membership contribution / savings / loan amortization.
      • Get your validated receipt from the teller once transaction has been completed. Make sure the details are correct. Keep your receipt for reference.
      • Upon receipt of the transaction from partner, Cashpinas will send the payment details to Pag-IBIG.
